Sometimes doing business with family can be more tricky than doing business with a business person/stranger because emotions get involved (and because you usually still have to see them at the holidays).

Money offers etc are last thing people want to talk to a total stranger.

I don't want to be the first investor for a stranger, but I would consider it for a friend or family member who has the skills and drive.

However, I feel a little awkward about allowing strangers off of the internet to come take a look at the home that I am living in (for context, I am a 110 lb single female). 

Borrowing anonymously from online strangers will not end well for you.

They don't want movers and other strangers in the buildings.

But it will never ever cover the amount of the possible harm in a worse case scenario I don’t know how bad the bite was but any dog biting a stranger is terrible territory.

I operate 2 rental units in northern Virginia already, so I'm no stranger to this world. 

I just can't quite imagine what kind of strangers want to live with 3 others, sharing 1 shower/kitchen/LR per 4 heads.. :-/ Not my style (or I would do it myself & save $100K), but it sounds like this seller has a few... shall we say..
