Tenant Screening for a House Hack

Courtney Hughes
Posted

I have just purchased my first house and intend to rent out my extra rooms in order to propel my real estate investing journey. However, I feel a little awkward about allowing strangers off of the internet to come take a look at the home that I am living in (for context, I am a 110 lb single female).
I’m wondering what the tenant screening process looks like, logistically, for other house hackers. What is your process? Any tips or input is greatly appreciated!
