I just need a sense going into my first year as I talk to real estate firms.I'm completely in the dark on this and when I ask the instructors to give something, they always punt on the answer and they say every fee is negotiable.

After 10 hours the instructor cuts you loose to fly all by your self  then after about 40 hours of solo and little more dual instruction you take a check ride and get your ticket then you can legally take passengers..

I have never had any experience with the new company, but from what I understand, they still use a lot of the same instructors who were all pretty great.

I'm from the old school that training meant sitting down and going through some sort of testing, data entry, running though scenarios etc, with an instructor to learn something.
