Some HELOC lenders will only use desktop underwriting and not a formal appraisal, while some only want a full appraisal to establish value.

I read that Fannie's Desktop Underwriting does allow for appraisal waivers in certain situations. 

We run QB desktop and will continue to.

There are both desktop and mobile versions of the app.The advantages to being in a virtual office environment are many.  

Property software like AppFolio etc allows tenants to make maintenance requests online with their software on desktop or their mobile app. 

You can do Quickbooks Pro (desktop version), which is a couple hundred dollars and run them all through there.
