After graduating from the University of Texas School of Law in 1990, I practiced as a trial attorney for five years before moving to Fredericksburg in 1996. Fredericksburg (the heart of the Texas Hill Country) has been a bustling tourist destination since the early 1990's but has now become the second most visited region for wineries, after Napa! Needing a little more variety and challenge than the practice of law was providing, I opened retail stores on Fredericksburg's bustling Main Street which I operated for 20 years. In 2001 I opened my first vacation rental and began adding properties as they came available. In 2007 I opened Absolute Charm B&B Reservation Service to manage my own bookings but quickly expanded to handle reservations for others as well. Today Absolute Charm is the major player in short term rental reservations in Fredericksburg, Texas marketing over 200 beautiful properties. That experience of buying, selling, designing and remodeling vacation rentals has given me a very unique and broad insight into the STR sales industry.
