Post: Propstream skip tracing

Does anybody know if Propstream is accurate compared to Batch Skip tracing? I believe batch is about 15 cents with promo code and Propstream is only 12 cents. Not sure who is the better option. Want a accurate platform to get the best data.

I’m a brand new investor with the strategy of wholesaling. I have been using Propstream to pull specific lists and I have used true people search to skip trace which is free and is fairly accurate at times. However, there are many prospects who I can’t find any numbers from. What is a great and accurate skip tracing software? I’m considering batch skip tracing or maybe even skip genie. Does anybody have any recommendations?

As a newbie I’m trying to find a great lead source software. I just got Propstream and I’m not sure how great their data is but was curious to see if anybody had any input on their software program. Are there other software apps who offer better data?

I have been using Propstream for a very short amount of time. I feel like the data is a bit limited and possibly a bit outdated. Does anybody feel the same way? If so, then what software programs would you suggest to get a solid number of high quality leads/list? I don’t think Propstream is bad and I haven’t given up on it just want to find the best data.

Just keep calling and if they ask you not to call again or to take them off your 'list' then you can.  Hope this helps.

PS is short for Propstream which I have been using to find a niche list. I think you have a good point about not being a telemarketer by selling a thrift you’re actually trying to buy. However, I’m still a bit skeptical about calling individuals who are on the DNC list and will take action against me.

I’ve been been taking imperfect action in the wholesaling side of real estate. They say it’s better than no action at all. My main concern when cold calling which is my current and only marketing strategy so far is to make sure I’m not calling people on the DNC list. I’ve got Propstream and am now at an obstacle I’m trying to overcome. Is there a website I can use to scrub my leads from PS and then make sure to not call those on the DNC list? Any advice is much appreciated.

When you say foreclosure bonus section do you mean in Propstream or in another platform?

I’m a newbie in this business and have been spending a good deal of my free time researching the aspect of finding off market deals. My strengths would be cold calling and not afraid to talk to people on the phone. I am deciding which software or data to download to find those deals whether it be a list from list source or possibly Propstream which seems to be a very useful tool for many aspects. The only issue with either of these is that many other people will be contacting these leads and will be harder to close due to that. I have heard about going to county websites and even the courthouses to pull updated info on preforeclosures, probates, absentee, etc. Would this be the way to go to find fresh leads who aren’t called constantly?

I do land and houses buy pulling data from an assessor source and sending large batch of direct mail blind offers. (I also scrub data and do some other things but that's a little out of scope - more than happy to help if you have questions though).

Then I get calls and signed offers back, and from there I can pick and choose which acquisitions I want to move forward on.

Thanks Justin! I appreciate your advice. I sent you a direct message and hoping we can connect!

I’m curious as to how most fix and flippers find their deals. I know that some flippers have wholesalers they network with or can even drive for dollars in a specific market they want to invest in. Are their any other ways of finding these type of properties? Is contacting a realtor to send you properties a reliable source? They would profit off of the sale when bought from the investor and possibly when they sell when rehabbed.
