I got into a fantasy football pool with my real estate agent and he self appointed himself as the treasurer and held $480 to pay out the winner. I won the championship and he now owes me $280 and has not paid me in two weeks and continues to push back. The crazy thing about this is that he is representing me on a deal right now that we are closing in the next two weeks. There obviously a huge trust issue with this guy and i don't understand how a professional can do something like this. How should i handle this situation? How would you handle this situation?

My wife and I currently own a owner occupied 3 family. We live in one of the smaller units, 2 bedroom 1 bath. We have a spare room that i use as an office sort of. Its where i write off my expenses. How do I know if i qualify for home office or how can i find a way to write off the space? We are also moving in the next month to a new home and the property will be rented out. Can we use a room in the new house as a home office?

Im sure this question has been answered before but here it goes. If i use 228,000 in VA loan to purchase a home am i able to use the remainder of the balance in the future as long as it totals 417,000? If this is true, how long do they require you to live at the property before moving on?

Would you ever buy a two family property that has a shared electric system. Is this a bad idea? Would you add new meters so that each unit has one? What are the pros and CQ cons?
Brie Schmidt sounds like a good approach. Looks like we have an advantage over them.
David Zheng thank you for you numbers. This gives me an idea of what I'm expecting.
Jeff B. e we can walk if we are not satisfied with the home inspection. We definitely want the seller to fix this issue than. This sounds like a big job. I'm not experienced with this type of work. Thank you for the feedback!
