Hey guys..

Sorry to join the bandwagon but I'm a new investor. Well more like an inspiring one because I haven't made my first deal yet. I'm looking at a Newark option in the South Bound section near Penn Station. I'm from Brooklyn, NY and don't have a clue as to what a good investing area in Newark or NJ is for that matter as I'm just getting my feet wet. The taxes always throw off my interest on a property in NJ. I would like to find an Owner occupant property to start with and then leverage from that point. I'll take any advice anyone has to offer in this area and surrounding areas as far as best course of action.

@Ibrahim Hughes You seem the most knowledgeable. I'd appreciate your feedback.
