I would agree with Daniel ^. House hacking has so many benefits especially in your circumstances. You can potentially be living for free while building equity in the property while also having the tax benefits and so many other benefits. You then can even rinse and repeat the HH process. You will be living their so much easier to self manage. from what I have been hearing from BP, house hacking pretty much always works regardless of the market conditions. If you need any help in the future definitely reach out. I am a real estate agent in the Boston area.

Congrats man!! You're way ahead of most.

I respect you studying a bunch of different methods to see what may work best for you.

I'm bias, but house hacking is by far my favorite method when starting out for many reasons. After just 2, it's already changed my life.

Hands on experience is invaluable (especially when starting out) in my opinion. If you're an agent, you should meet with some lenders and have recommendations for your clients, and see who you like for yourself as well.

I've used different pest control companies, handymen, flooring guys, painters, electricians, etc., just on these 2 properties and feel like I have a solid grasp of what to recommend.

Also going to local meetups and asking questions, meeting people who have done it, etc., can be extremely beneficial.

Good for you again for starting to think this way so young. Best of luck to you!! :)

I appreciate you reaching out man! I think im definitely heading in the house hacking route..I will definitely be reaching out with questions!

Hi Rachel,

I am also on the newer side of investor and investment agent in MA and would love to connect. RE investing is awesome. Have you ever thought of house hacking in MA.. maybe in the framingham to Marlborough area. Or even a BRRRR out here. I think MA has some awesome investing opportunities and its in your back yard. I know investors that are successfully doing BRRRS, house hacking and even buying and listing on air bnb all in MA.
