New Member Introduction - Looking for Mentorship/Partnership

Hi everyone!

My name is Josh Byrd, a current native of Rock Hill, SC. I recently graduated from Winthrop University in 2021 where I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors in Accounting. Following undergrad, I graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2022 with my Masters in Accounting and a Certification in Business Analytics. I currently work as an IT Auditor at a public accounting firm in Charlotte, NC.

I'm writing this post in hopes to find a mentor and partner to jump start my real estate investing journey. I've been a huge fan of the BiggerPockets since 2020. This year I was able to take my first leap into real estate, putting in offers on homes, numerous of walkthroughs with contractors, and eventually landed my first deal that I am currently house hacking with plans to turn it into a mid-term rental next year. I have a true passion for real estate and eager to jump start my journey as the process slowed down since I do not know many private money lenders. 

I have an expertise in analyzing deals quickly, project management, and understanding market trends. I also can provide value from a business perspective as it relates to finances as my background in accounting translates to real estate. I really hope I can find a mentor that I can learn from and help propel my journey. Really appreciate the time for reading and feel free to reach out! Thanks!
