@Eduardo Calle Sure thing. I invest heavily with Ashcroft Capital (I am also part of their Investor Relations team for full transparency) and I am currently in 8 of their deals. I have also invested lately with Monarch Investment, Broadmark Capital, Reliant, PPR Note Co. and Pikes Peak Capital Holdings.

@Eduardo Calle I do not have experience investing with Blue Lake Capital; however, I do have experience investing with 14 other syndication groups in the industry that do similar value-add investments. Happy to share anytime.

@Nataly Soto I recently invested in an apartment complex in Tampa a few months ago. Love the market there + lots of East coasters migrating to FL from high tax states. I also invested in Jacksonville. Best of luck!

@Bradley Den I read "Tax-Free Wealth" by Tom Wheelright years ago and it has literally saved me tens of thousands in taxes. I think he has an updated version of the book out now with respect to the recent changes in tax code. Best of luck!

@Andy Ramdeen Great topic! If you are an accredited investor, check out real estate syndications. This is the path I chose once I became accredited. It's a truly passive model that doesn't require your time and makes it easy to invest out of state. Prior to doing this, I did a lot in the single-family realm, all in my home state. Best of luck to you!

@Sharlene Burch Awesome topic! I started investing at age 20 and I was inspired by my Dad who started investing in his 50's. He has done very well in a 10-15 year timeframe, it's never too late. We both started by identifying our goal(s). For my Dad, it was basically a retirement goal. For me, it was more about travel and the freedom to not be tied to a W2 job forever. What is your end goal? Retirement, more time with family, travel, charity work, vacations? 10 years later, I have to say my first investment was the best financial choice I ever made. Best of luck to you!

@Account Closed Gaining a big-picture perspective helped me overcome the fear and analysis paralysis when I first got started. My total net worth when I first started was around 40k and I put down 20k on a property (half of my life savings!). But I knew that if I never got started, I would never reach my goals. Start with identifying your goal(s). Early retirement, more time with family, travel, charity work, vacation home? Much of my goals were focused around having enough passive income or "financial freedom" to travel the world and not be pinned down to a W2 job for the rest of my life. 10 years later, I have to say that 20k investment was the best financial choice I ever made. Best of luck to you!

Has anyone used ProVision CPA firm? Tom Wheelright is the founder and is also the CPA for Robert Kiyosaki. I am not a client of theirs, but have always been curious on the ROI. It's a steep cost to become a client, but they seem to heavily specialize in real estate investing and business ownership. I am a full-time apartment investor and self-employed consultant and have found it difficult to find a knowledgeable CPA firm that can help PROactively strategize.
