@Alanna Schroeder, I have owned/managed 3 in the Lake Tahoe area (currently down to 1 however in Tahoe City).  Here is that property if you want to check it out:  https://evolvevacationrental.com/411501

I have been on an MLS feed for Princeville for a few years now as we go out there every few years for family vacation and love it!

very cool, I will check it out!  I just sold my VR in Tahoe Donner this past August so we will be needing a place to stay!

If you ever need a place to stay in Princeville let me know.  Our website is paradiseattheplantation.com.

I have a few friends with places in Branson.  That is a great market!

HOA's are bad for the STR business and I'm jettisoning a unit of mine this spring because of this same "noise". Once this noise starts, it's like a rolling snowball in HOA communities. That said, I would work all avenues with a 30 day rental policy. It doesn't hurt to keep them listing on ABB and VRBO as well as the traveling nurse type websites.

Suggest to the community that they require Noiseaware for all units operating as a STR. It is a really simple solution.

No, but they do have an app store so I am guessing over time they will add it.  I tried pricing software (maybe beyond pricing) and it really did not reflect what was happening in my area.  I am able to get much higher rates based on what they suggested but my area is unique.

I am on Kauai and my occupancy was 89% last year.  I primarily use VRBO and then Airbnb to fill the small gaps and that strategy has worked out well.  I only open my Air calendar 3 months out.  How can I find your place?  I would love to take a look.

I say YES!  I had a client that recently had the same issue and she went the 30-day route and it has worked out VERY well for her.  She has hosted some great clients.  I think it is an untapped opportunity that is definitely worth looking into.

If you do go the 30-day route make sure that you require weekly cleaning so that you can be sure that the condo is being cared for.

I use MyVR and love it.  It makes managing my place super simple and acts as a channel manager as well so I no longer need to access Homeaway, Airbnb, VRBO, TripAdvisor, Etc.

If you are looking to scale or just save time I highly recommend you look into their platform. I run multiple businesses so streamlining is important to me.

I just set up all of my autoresponders a few weeks ago and I would say that this platform is going to save me hours!  I could not be happier!

Looking to connect with other vacation rental owners, hosts and managers!  My property is located in Princeville, Hawaii!

You should expect to pay anywhere from 15% to 45% depending on the company and service.

I self manage.

Best to self manage if you can.  I save myself 12K a year.  My rental is in Kauai.
