I am planning on purchasing a duplex using an FHA LOAN, I am wondering after this property how would I be able to finance the next property? Can I use another FHA loan, USDA loan, or would everything else have to be conventional?

Have any of you purchased a multi family unit with plans of house hacking but tenants were already in place and had to force a tenant out? Did you feel any guilt in doing this or do you prefer to buy multi family unit with all vacancies or at least one vacant unit?

Are there any loan options available that would allow you to put down less than 20% down other than the FHA Loan or that wouldn't have to be owned-occupied?

Mj Mckinley I'm in the same situation as far as student loans. I was approved for an FHA loan so my plan is to purchase a property and live in it for a year or 2 while fixing it before renting it out. If I decided to wait til I paid all my student debt off then I'll be waiting forever but that's me. I'm not experienced as the others so this is just the chance I'm taking
