I will get straight to it. My grandmother is in hospice care and basically down to her last days. She has a house that she hasn't been able to pay on because her finances have been directed to her nursing home. No one has POA over her and now her mortgage is behind about 4 months. She only owes about $4500 on her house but I don't want to pay for it because the house wouldn't come to me when she passes. I really don't want to put myself into debt to pay it off if I can't be the owner. No one else is concerned about saving the house and I'm getting no help with this situation and that's another reason why i would want to be the owner if I paid it off. Is there any other ways that I could become owner of the estate if I was the one to pay it off?
