Welcome. I am in Oshkosh often as my wife is from there but live in Madison area. Keep listening to those podcasts. They are a great tool for learning. Maybe some day we can connect for coffee or something. Wish you the best.

Welcome! Keep reading and listening to podcasts. Ask questions and try to get your feet wet a little once you think your ready. Word of advice just don't keep putting it off. As some point you'll need to just do it.

Hey Chris, nice to hear you're doing well. Yes Janesville/Beloit is a great rental market. I to invest in the area, nothing like Chris has been doing but we are both agreed that it's a great place for rentals. RIAs and Meetups are your best bet along with BP. Welcome, I hear Milwaukee is a good place for investing. I'm personally in south central WI. Sounds like you have a great start with the 4 family property. Good luck on your next. Ever any questions ask away and I'll see if I have an answer. No big timer myself but may be able to help.

I invest in the Beloit/Janesville are and low property prices with high renting population makes it a good area if your looking to invest in rentals. Only thing I recommend is staying in the good areas because it may be tough in the lower end areas. Let me know if you have any other questions on Beloit. If interested we do a meet up monthly when possible at the Great Dane in Fitchburg. Not positive when the next will be but I can let you know if interested. 

If your look for multifamily around that price range your best bet would be in Rock County nearest to Beloit WI. I invest there and property prices to rent is very good in my opinion. I don't invest in the Madison area due to such high market prices and also that I don't have unlimited funds. I do live here however. Hope that helps a little.
