Thank you all for your help and advice. I think I was being a little too ambitious just such a waste to toss pretty good quality products. Also, having to transport it with damaging was a bit of an issue as well. Thank you BP community again for your help!

@Aaron K. Thanks for the feedback, what do you think of light fixtures, doors, toilets or windows. Here are some of the photos, right now the house is just a Airbnb so I will demo it soon, just hate the idea of tossing away practically the whole house since we are basically replacing everything.

Hi All, I am doing huge demo and remodel on my house and we are replacing everything. From the kitchen cabinets, windows, toilets, faucets, appliances, lights, ceiling fans, marble counter-tops, doors etc. I had an idea of buying a real fixer-upper that would need most of those items installed, updated or replaced.

My question is how hard would it be to remove and install the items. Would it be worth the hassle. My contractor said he does not want to be in liable for damaging the items during Demo which is fair but I can hire someone to safely remove those items. However, is it worth it so install in another house? I am not looking to flip the house, just make it livable for rent. The fixtures are from the 2000's-2010's, and the house likely will be in a rougher part of the bay area, where rents should fetch about $2,500 for a 3/1 for a basic non upgraded house.

Any thoughts, has anyone tried this, or am I crazy? Most of the appliances are still pretty new and stainless steel.

Hello BP Community, I'm looking to see if anyone has any experience, advice or referral for an asset professional. I live in CA and my business partner are in the process of purchasing another apartment complex in MO, we will do a multi member LLC however, in terms of anonymity and fees/admin am deciding where we want them. We have an S-Corp in CA but wanted to know what is the best way to structure it so that we are protected from any large liabilities and also the more favorable for tax implications.

Our previous investments were single LLC's in MO

Any help or referrals would be great, thank you!!

Hi Bigger Pockets world, I am looking to close on a deal in Kansas City, KS however, in order to be competitive with the other local offers, we are offering a very short due diligence period of 8 days, does anyone have a recommendation for someone in that area that can do this. It's a 10 unit building, thanks in advance!

Hi I am a CA based investor that is investing in properties in Cleveland. My realtor has some contractors but I know it's a very busy time before winter. Do any of you have any good leads, I have a duplex in Tremont and will likely pick up another multi unit 5+ in the Cudell area. If you have any leads or recommendations that would be appreciated, wanted to make sure prices are accurate and also of course getting scheduling would be a huge plus.

Thank you to all of you who responded, I don't think I will change my partner's mind but this all very useful, I may still make a visit out there and get a better idea of the area and develop some relationships with PM and Agents. Neighborhood lines change dramatically, so it would be best to check them, so i can justify the cost at least on research too.

Hi guys this is great I'll likely go and pay out of pocket on my own. There are lots of books encouraging this but I disagree, not only to see the property but also to build relationships with the property manager is essential. As much as technology has made things easier I just think there are some intangibles I'm not convinced we should concede.

Hi I'm new to investing out of state and am looking at the Cleveland market. My business partner and I have invested in some homes in California and are selling one and doing a 1031 exchange. However through reading alot of literature alot of investors are saying its not necessary to visit the property before investing with the use of technology and video conferencing its much easier. I believe we should meet the agent/property management company in person and really get a feel for the property, it's a Turnkey 20+ unit apartment complex. My partner is saying it's not necessary, what are your thoughts it's a large investment.
