@Kyle Tom I am in a BP Mastermind group with Bill.  You are in CA and investing OOS. Perhaps would like to join our group if you don't already have one?

@Austin Largusa

  How did you find the property as an OOS investor? It seems the markets everywhere are so hot!

Way to go Nick! You have the right mindset at such a young age.  Stick with the learning. Offer to volunteer your time on a rehab or deal finding or something with a seasoned investor in the area. If your parents are willing to help you with your first deal that is icing on the cake at this point. Save, focus and keep learning. You got this!

Hi Dannial! Very impressed with you reaching out and ready to learn at 19 years old!  My first rental property was our home in Laguna Niguel.  We moved to WA and rented it out rather than sell. I haven't done flips but have had multi-families in the Seattle area which we rehabbed.  I purchased a multi-family in Carlsbad almost 2 years ago.  We completely renovated it and it now has long term tenants. I may be purchasing something in the future in North SD County.  If I do, I will reach out. Happy to connect with you should I be able to help in any way.  DM me at BP.

I have added the Nest Yale lock for my property in CA (I'm in WA). I am having trouble with the app and have not been able to change the code remotely.  Anyone have some knowledge as to what to do?  Thanks!

Just spoke with a PM there who is also an investor in Fort Wayne.  The market is HOT and you need to act quickly.  Many are overpaying according to them.

@Dave Ryan  Great question, Dave!  How do we find good wholesalers and be respectful of agents?
