There is a lot to learn.  The best teacher is the experience you gain from actually doing something but having guidance will help save you in the long run. You guys are correct.  Being in the Tampa market.  I can say the other markets were saturated.  Now in light of present circumstances.  I do believe that there will be more opportunities.  However, we need to be sure that the population is safe and secure before more information can be determined.

Hi @Krystina L. Welcome to the Tampa Bay Area.  I would have to agree with @Waverly Rennie , many people are buying distressed homes in areas that are being regenerated and being within 30 to 40 mins away from a beach in any beach makes Tampa and St. Petersburg very desirable locations where you can fix and flip or fix and hold/rent. There are many areas which do not have HOA's. However, once you get into condos, you will find the HOS's pretty high. Many SFH is being used as vacation rentals and AirBnB. Good luck in your search and I'd be happy to help you if you need it.
