Oh she's not out, it's just the Dems are threatened by her wits, intelligence, good looks, family values and last but not least, integrity.
Did I miss something?

Oh yeah, I did. Her handle on international matters.

I guess I didn't realize how little credibility the guy had, substantiated with firm examples, but luckily I do now, coming from someone that hasn't heard him, or read him. Appreciate the enlightnement.

Ummm, when the McCain-Palin campaign propped him on the stage and made him part of the circus act?
Had they left him home, I doubt he would've enjoyed the same level of "celebrity".

Not just that, J Scott, but an average person that reaches the ultimate power, gets power-drunk and tends to make ill-fated decisions, look at W. That's truly scary.

I've listened to an interview with a journalist from AK (main paper in Anchorage, he seemed pretty even and fair) and one of the questions was if she returned from the VP campaign trail as a changed person. he stated that yes, she has returned changed, in the sense that she was even LESS LIKELY now to listen to any other opinion but hers. Now that's a reassuring quality for someone holding the red button...

My take on it is that it can't be OVER while (if) she is still carrying the GOP flagship for the 2012 hopes. If she's truly over, than public attention will slowly fade away from public scrutiny and ultimately be reduced to what we have today of Dan Quayle jokes, only juicier.

If however she chooses to carry the GOP flag and hopes for 2012 than how can it truly be OVER before then? Of course there's still scrutiny, and ultimately jokes. For someone that supposed to hold back Putin, Ahmadinejad and kim jong Il and whine when confronted by Letterman? Puh-lease, that's part of being in the public eye, it comes with the teritory!

As soon as Obama's REAL birth certificate comes to light, Sarah should be there, ready to take over and square this socialist mess away, with a wink and a gunshot (folksy "you betcha" mandatory here) .

Of course, the flip side of it is Putin will be able to rear his ugly head as often as he likes without any fear of repercussions... it's give and take, can't win'em all folks!

Yup, the main problem of the McCain-Palin ticket was that it wasn't far enough to the right. Next time look for a duo winner David Duke-Pat Buchanan

No guy could ever be more of a national security risk than Dubya and his junta was.

To her defense, Palin would come close, part of the reason people voted against her ticket and will do so again.

She needs to focus on those Russians and watch them full time. Putin has found his match.

On a more serious note, for one thing her resignation is meant to stop the ethics investigations against her. Perhaps a good strategy from that perspective.

It sure beats the alternative: to have your property flooded
