It's actually quite simple to pay back a loan when you can print the money and I think we're thinking the same thing. Wait till it's devalued to the point where paying back the loan is effectively a short sale.


I thought this was obvious to everyone by now. Including the Chinese. Except that, just like in a short sale, they don't have other reasonable alternatives.

We survived 8 yrs of madness (of King George), I'm sure we'll survive the current insanity. Other than that, like I said, I'll believe it (and worry about it) when I see it in reality, not some Sarah-like drawing, which is someone's biased interpretation.

That reminds me of (non)Joe the (non)Plumber, he was sooo concerned about the taxes that might increase on the money that he could make if he could buy a business (no money down) provided of course he could get a license first.... in the meantime he was a... ahem... what was Tim's favorite word? OTOH, I'll believe that when I see it, i.e. when I see my health coverage cost me ZIP that means some rich dude(tte) is paying it for me but until then I get hefty bills, let's talk something else more tangible. Any asteroids near Earth this week-end?
