I haven't seen anyone from Connecticut chime in yet. I've been looking for those great REO deals I've read about, but they seem to be in short supply in my area. Any other investors in Connecticut having luck with the local REO inventory, and are you noticing that the few that exist are over priced?

Welcome to BP @Karina Henriquez and Ivan!  This is the best resource on the web for learning all about real estate and connecting with like-minded people.  I'm from the Hartford area, let me know if I can help in any way.  Happy investing!

Unfortunately, I won't be able to make this one. But I encourage anyone in the area looking to do some great networking to attend, they are a great low pressure way of meeting quality people. Hope to make the next one!

Hi all,

I am a licensed agent but am very new to the MLS and have a question to those familiar with the MLS. I have been trying to find the lock box combos for the properties I want to see, but the MLS usually says "Use show assist". Does anyone know what this means? Is it a special service i need to use? Should I just contact the listing agent anyway? Thanks.

@Joshua Dow I went to Greater Hartford Association of Realtor's class, West Hartford.  It was Mon and Wed nights, 6-9.  The teacher (Fred) was great, and I feel I learned a lot.
