Ok, ok...

I used the wrong word.

I should have said "Terminate Tenancy", not "Evict".

Tenancy is currently month to month.

In Wisconsin, you do not need a reason to terminate tenancy.

Rent is always on time, no other problems.

I'm just not sure.

Post: Deduct Furniture and Debris Removal From Security Deposit

A tenant left behind furniture, a clothes dryer and so much debris in the apartment, basement, storage locker and garage that I hired a company to clean it out.

Yes, I took lots of pictures...lots...

It took 2 guys over 4 hours.

I have a receipt and a copy of the check.

Can I deduct it from the security deposit?

Thank you,

Arnie

...and then he started talking about trust... Yeah, we're standing in my quarter million dollar building, and you've got a pickup truck parked outside...

I'd never go more than 1/3 down, 1/3 in the middle and 1/3 upon completion. And I don't even like that... can you imagine a restaurant asking for payment before you got your food?

I almost physically threw him out. What a waste of time...

Thanks, but I've done evictions before. It's pretty straight forward.

Yes, I've found out that 5 days is 5 days, and Ben is right about adding 2 days if you're going to mail it.

I delivered it in person today.

With that kind of income, why would you live with your tenants?

My buildings are nice enough that I'd live in any one of them...

In a heartbeat...

But only if I HAD to...

Six figure household income?

Set your sights a little higher, my friend.

No need to be down in the turbulence when you can be up in the flight levels above the weather...
