Howdy all,

I am having a few issues with a project via contractors liens. So my old GC hired a plumber to do some work in August 2018, he never paid him for his work, so months later the plumber is trying to have me pay him, but I am not sure what the law will require, its way past 90 days so how ling does he have to file a lien and what are my options. I don't want to pay this man $2,400 for a job I would have paid $1,900 for.

You may want to add more detail and context. It will help folks point you in the right direction.

Howdy All,

My name is Solomon Floyd, I own Reunion Investments, a full service real estate investment firm with a military housing partnership. We provide investors with wholesale, rehab, and asset management services under one program to allow for the most efficient investment process. We extend our contracting to our investors in order to build and develop areas in and around military installations. Our housing contract with the military allows us to ensure that we can provide above market rents to all of our clients. Due to the nature of our partnership, Reunion has insight into how many renters will be arriving per month allowing us to provide housing for those members. I am interested to learn more about how many of you are earning income from military communities and if any of you are interested in partnering with installations around the world.

Bottom line: Looking for a short-term rental (any property type) $600/month or less in Wichita Falls, TX preferably close to Sheppard Air Force Base. Must allow pets (one cat and one dog - lab approximately 50 lbs). Move-in about mid-January.

Situation: I have a good friend in the Army stationed in Germany whose daughter lives in San Antonio. Her fiancée is in Air Force basic training and has a follow-on to Sheppard for his tech school. They’re getting married after he graduates basic and then she is planning to move to Wichita Falls. My friend is trying to help his daughter find a place but hasn’t been successful yet. The fiancée will be at Sheppard about four months before getting orders to this first duty station. They’re looking for something that either allows month to month or has a military clause in the lease agreement that would them to break the lease once the fiancée gets his orders.

Thank you for reading and please feel free to share this.

I have a property that will be vacant by the time they need to move in.
