Old home relocated with new basement

I am under contract on a home that was built in 1940. In 2006 it was relocated to its current site. They dug out a basement and updated all of the plumbing, electrical, insulation, and finished the basement. I just want to make sure the house is structurally sound. The inspector said the foundation looks good and that these companies are really good with projects like these. I just want to do my due diligence to make sure I won’t have any issues with the foundation or basement in the future. There is nothing at the property that would make me think something is wrong, just want peace of mind going into it. Has anyone dealt with something like this? I’m thinking about just pulling the permits and if everything checks out I will just keep moving forward. Is that a decent course of action or should I be doing anything additionally? Thanks!
