@Todd Whiddon@J Scott@Rick Baggenstoss @Matt Wood

Yes, that neighborhood is fantastic.  The video also had "Bristol" on top :-)

I am actually in Leafmore Hills, just down the street.  Same school district.  Fantastic job on the house, BTW.  One day I plan to pop a top on my house!

Nice job @Todd Whiddon and @J Scott

This is my neighborhood that I live in so I can say how amazing it is and I see all the beautiful new houses going up.  My next door neighbor is about to tear down their house and build a new one. Just curious as to what street you are on.

Hi @Holly Hollister, I am also focused mainly on in-town, but have wondered the same as you.  Hope you don't mind me following this post to see what others say.

Where in-town are you invested now?

I have been going over this in my head for weeks and I just need some feedback.

Which option is better, buying a rental property directly within my Solo 401k (with the intention of refinancing non-recourse down the road) OR take a loan from the Solo 401k to buy the property (with the intention of refinancing conventional)?

I am not thrilled with the non-recourse loans (poor LTV and higher cost and interest rates), BUT there are so many pros and cons for each choice. Can I hear some of your thoughts on what you would do?

Hi, I have done a few mailings to absentee owners in a Decatur, GA neighborhood.  I have a good number of mailers that have been returned to me as undeliverable.

I am looking for someone who would be interested in tracking, skip tracing or doing anything to find the owners and make wholesale deals.  I would split the profit 50/50 with this person.

Anyone interested in taking on this opportunity?

@Tresden Berry

Welcome!  You will find that BP is the best place to learn about RE investing.  I especially recommend the podcasts as they provide so much valuable information.

What part of Atlanta are you interested in?
