Hello BiggerPockets Community!

My name is Aaron and I was born and raised in Atlanta, Ga.  I have been investing in real estate for about 4 years.  I began in the summer of 2011 with my first rental property.  Over the course of 2 years I was able to build my portfolio to 11 rental properties.  Unfortunately, when the large investment firms came in, it became increasingly difficult to find the deals I was used to. 

Once the market crept back up I was able to sell two of my rental properties and with that profit I began flipping houses.  So far, I have flipped 5 houses and currently manage my rental properties.  I worked construction during the summers growing up, so I am able to do much of the work myself with the exception of HVAC.

After listening to many of the Podcasts it seems that networking is my biggest weakness and I have decided to start by joining this website and hopefully meet other investors, especially those currently dealing with the Atlanta area.

I'm flipping ITP in the areas around Kirkwood, Decatur (City and South), West End, and sometimes OTP for the right deal.  Holding mostly in Atlanta and Decatur.
