Thanks for the response. I pulled a list from the MLS for the areas that I would like to buy in, but I am still debating whether or not I want to hand write them or have a mail house send them. The list is only 72 properties so it wouldn't be too bad to write them all out. My other thought was to type a personal letter and just sign each on and mail myself.

Hey BP,

I am in the early stages of buying my first multi unit and I want to utilize direct mail to find a deal. I have been doing direct mail with SFH and have had a good amount of success with it. I would love to hear from experienced member who use direct mail in multi family investing and hear your thoughts. What does your letter consist of? Do you hit the same list 5-7 times like you would for SFH? What us your response/success rate? Thanks!
