Hey everyone,

I started as an agent in February. I haven't closed any deals yet but I do have one listing and one buyer on contract. I'm leaving the military in July to do this full time so I would like to pick up the pace with my activity before I get out.

Travis Robertson Coaching called me yesterday and offered me an 11 Week Boot Camp for $997. They said on average, agents close 3-4 deals by the end of the training. I've already spent a lot of money on my marketing and leads so I'm wary about spending more money. However, since I have a steady paycheck until July, now would be the best time if I'm actually going to do it.

What do you all think about agent coaching? Is it a good investment? Do you know anything about Travis Robertson Coaching? I know Keller Williams has tools, I just don't know where to start with those so any tips with that would be beneficial as well.

Thank you all!

Post: Fix and Flip Loans

Hello all! I'm getting ready to start flipping houses and I have a few newb questions for you all.

I've been looking at using either a line of credit or a fix and flip loan. So far, I'm leaning more toward the fix and flip loan.

I've been talking to LendingOne because I saw them on the list of HML in my area (Augusta, GA) on this site. I'm in the middle of filling out the pre-approval application and there's a whole section that asks about my "entity" which makes me think they only loan to people with experience. Nevertheless, I'm going to give them a try anyway. With that being said....

What kind of questions should I be asking them? I'm new but I don't want to be scammed.

Do you know anything about this company? Am I relatively safe working with them.

If not, or if you don't know about them, are there any companies you would recommend?

Thank you for your time!

Wow! Lots of great information. Thank you everyone! I just met with an agent and she went over everything with me. There's a possibility that both of them will have to pay out of pocket because they only had their houses since mid 2014. That's the risk you run near a military base, I suppose; people get orders and have to act fast. I haven't seen the actual amounts they have left to pay on their houses (I'll be meeting with them this weekend and next weekend) but we're quite sure they're going to have to pay. I'm scared to tell them the bad news. I gotta get over that quick =/

Thank you so much, Shaun (my phone won't let me tag you)! I'm starting to feel better. I just can't wait to get it over with so I can get past the inevitable growing pains.

Hello beautiful people!

As I've mentioned in previous forums, I am a new agent in GA. I am doing RE part time until I get out of the Army on May 16th. WELL....I just got my first two leads from Soldiers who are definitely selling their houses because they have to leave the state. I'm really excited and nervous so I decided to come here to tell everyone my good news and maybe try to ease my nerves. Do you have any tips or information to pass on regarding listings?

Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone!

I recently got licensed and I've been playing around on the MLS. I wanted to know how you personally use the MLS to generate leads? I know I should look at expired listings and FSBOs but I don't see how to see which listings are FSBO and I haven't found any expired listings that have the owners' contact information on it. Help please!

@Malik WelchThanks, will do! I think I'll definitely need some help evaluating some of these older homes.
It's awesome that you're going for your license. I have plenty of study material and I passed on the first try. Let me know if you need any help! I'd be more than happy to help you study.
KW sold me with the amount of training and leadership guidance they offer. Everything is so new to me so I definitely need that. I guess a lot of people feel the same lol.
