Hello @Michael Dupree

What are you trying to do exactly?  Do you have a property that is a potential deal and need funding for it?

@Issy Mercado

Hello and welcome. I am a fellow Long Islander and full-time real estate investor. I invest mostly out of state, but I have done a few flips on Long Island. REI has been great to me over the past few years. I would say try to reach out to as many networking groups that you can, and find some local meet-ups. We have a great REIA on Long Island that can help you with any questions you may have.

Feel free to reach out to me as well.  I'll be glad to help you out.

    @Alex Xu I found my local REIA in New York to be very helpful to get started and meet people who were actively investing. That's how I got into my first out of state investment and met one of the partners I work with to this day

    Hi Im an investor from Long Island.  I wish my first house purchase was a house hack.  I have been investing for three years now.  I was just able to quit my full time job to focus on investing.  I invest out of state in TN and CT.  Let me know if I can help you with anything.

    @Michael Gallagher

    Hi Mike.  Great to see a fellow Long Islander on here.  I started out investing out of state in Memphis and I currently own a portfolio of 8 properties in CT.  I've found CT to be great for cash flowing rental properties, most of which are multi family.  I take the ferry over weekly so the commute isn't that bad.  Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions.  Otherwise best of luck

    @Bret Maryon

    I've had a lot of success in Memphis. I own 10 SFR now and returns have been pretty good.
