Justin Foster There are many opportunities for jobs in RE - lending, brokerage, property management, appraisal, construction. I totally agree with Landon S., whatever you decide, you will be spending alot of time doing it; so, make sure you enjoy it!

Michael Quarles I had some progress, I went to the mail distribution center that my post office runs there mail through and they didn't have a problem with what I was doing. They are going to double check with some higher ups; so, I'll know for sure at the beginning of next week.

Samantha M. Standard mail is 27-29 cents and first class mail is 46 cents

Robert Conroy If mailing to absentee owners, wouldn't you want to specify which property you are interested in? I would and that is what I am doing :)

Michael Quarles I really appreciate. I am meeting with the bulk mail guy tomorrow and if it doesn't go well I may try to put him in touch with your Post Office. Thanks.

Michael Quarles Thanks for the encouragement. Do you think, if it comes to it, that you could give me the name of the bulk mail person that you deal with?

Thanks,
Sean

Patrick Jackson I dropped my first 300 letters off and the local 250 went through but someone stopped the 50 or so letters that were going outside of my county. The person in charge of bulk mail said it was due to content. They said standard mailings must be identical and since I change the property address in the body of the mailing it does not qualify. This is a big problem for me. Any advice? I am going to look more deeply into the rules for domestic mail.

I set up a standard mail, pre-canceled stamp account with the post office and now they're telling me that the yellow letter does not qualify and that it is first-class mail because it includes personal information, i.e. the address of the property I want to buy, in the letter. Some of you out there do this, right?

Thanks Joel Owens. Let me see if I have this straight - A wrap mortgage usually means buying a property subject to an existing first mortgage plus a seller financed second mortgage?
