My view is that healthcare reform should be guided by a simple principle: Fix what's broken and build on what works," the president promised.

Well, it doesn't look like he's going to keep that promise. Fix what's broken?!? I haven't seen any evidence of that. All they're putting into this bill is more gov't control over my life and more pork. I will NOT participate in gov't run health care. I will DIE first. I am ANGRY about this one. We're getting so much socialist CR@P slammed down our throats and now this? I am so angry about this I am ready to storm the White House. This CANNOT pass!

And when we get enough people like that, then we will see real change.

It seems when we elect our so called representative and send them off to Washington, they are representing the lobbyist instead of all of the people at the state level.

Which state are you talking about? Arkansas or California. Huge difference there...

Well all of them are smaller than the federal and much more managable.

These billboards are showing up along the roadways now. I think they're great. Its a reminder that people need that the recession is not going to last forever. What goes up must come down but it has a tendency to go right back up again.

It's actually quite simple to pay back a loan when you can print the money and I think we're thinking the same thing. Wait till it's devalued to the point where paying back the loan is effectively a short sale.

Yeah but with all the world's economies tied together, we'll play hell finding a buyer. Then we're gonna get foreclosed on.

That's the major problem we have with US citizens today. By the time you see it, its already done. People need to take a more active role in stopping them from taking our rights away from us before they do it.

King George lol! Cute comment. I'm sure you give him too much credit.

That reminds me of (non)Joe the (non)Plumber, he was sooo concerned about the taxes that might increase on the money that he could make if he could buy a business (no money down) provided of course he could get a license first.... in the meantime he was a... ahem... what was Tim's favorite word? Oh yeah, he's a Faux reporter now... big surprise there.

OTOH, I'll believe that when I see it, i.e. when I see my health coverage cost me ZIP that means some rich dude(tte) is paying it for me but until then I get hefty bills, let's talk something else more tangible. Any asteroids near Earth this week-end?

First off, I don't exactly call someone who only makes $250K a rich dude(tte). But we're all going to pay for that crazy health care bill. Did you look at the org chart? How could you miss the big IRS up in the corner?

Asteroids. Yes I suppose we could pray for one. Might be the only things that saves us from that insanity.
