I guess that would be the end of the dollar.
What then? Amero?
Maybe a Globo?

Once people realize that this paper money really means nothing, the fed is going to have to back it with something.
No more IOUs.
We're going back to the gold standard baby!

lol! The paper money never did mean anything. I think I recall something about China and maybe it was Russia, trying to get the US to go with an international currency of some type. I don't quite recall the details.

The problem is, taking on more and more debt is what got us into this mess in the first place.

There has got to be a better alternative

We'll get to the truth soon enough.

In the meanwhile, how about some input regarding the initial topic?

What I meant by that is it doesn't specifically dispute or confirm anything. It cites an executive orde. Many things have been written to protect our rights but as you can see, Bush plowed right over most of them with the Patriot Act.

Regardless of whether the eminent domain issue is true or not, China at any point in time may ask for their money back.
This gives them a whole lot of leverage, don't you think?

I did say it was "my understanding". I wasn't there to see it signed. I've heard it mentioned in several places and its all over the internet. But you can go to Bloomberg and see that China was pushing for some security. So what did they give them if not land? No one ever said. But I don't think this is something the Fed would broadcast if it were true and it wouldn't be the first time that something was enacted that the American people didn't know about. Quite frankly it probably doesn't matter in the long run. With the big push for world government, we're all gonna wind up belong to the UN anyway.

Supposedly Hilary Clinton signed some act into place that allows China to physically secure any U.S. hard assets. Regardless if this is true, semi-true or just a thoughtfully concocted conspiracy, I highly doubt a Chinese government official is going to go knocking on doors handing out notices that their home is now in the hands of the Chinese government due to the U.S. governement's inability to repay it's debt.

Hahahaha.... Give me a break.

This is the first source I was given. I've seen many reference to it online. I'm sure every one is able to do their own research.

I wouldn't have thought one man could gather up a million people and exterminate them either but it happened.

Debbie, I saw that myself but I'm not sure how that proves or disproves anything.

I usually get comps from several different sources. Zillow (said to be not that acurate) and B of A's website are two that are very quick to pull up and between the 2 you can get in the ballpark. At least enough that you're not over valueing a property by $50K. There are several other similar out there as well. I recommend using several.

That's another major problem. Every time the Fed does something outlandish and anyone says anything about it, the people of this country will dismiss it as conspiracy theory.

I understand what you are saying here but it is difficult to do that and alert the people in this country to what is going on.

Walter Concrite is quoted as saying:

"It seems to many of us that if we are to avoid the eventual catastrophic world conflict we must strengthen the United Nations as a first step toward a world government patterned after our own government with a legislature, executive and judiciary, and police to enforce its international laws and keep the peace," he said. "To do that, of course, we Americans will have to yield up some of our sovereignty. That would be a bitter pill. It would take a lot of courage, a lot of faith in the new order."

In his acceptance speech, Cronkite added, "Pat Robertson has written in a book a few years ago that we should have a world government, but only when the Messiah arrives. He wrote, literally, any attempt to achieve world order before that time must be the work of the devil. Well, join me. I'm glad to sit here at the right hand of Satan."

Our government's intent is world government. Complete control. Democrats and Republicans alike. Are we going to wait until it is so large that it is impossible to curtail?

This is where the "fight" needs to be. And why it might seem to some that this thread was hijacked to some extent, but the purpose was for what I do see for the next 3/1-2 years and maybe the next 4 thereafter. Will be a fight for control of the business and therefore most of us as a result.

This is about the only way that government can get bigger now since it can not get any more from us through taxes directly, it is these indirect ways that they must tap for further control.

Its scary what has happened in just the past few months. The loss of control that the American people have experienced and most don't even know about it. The really big issues like mortgaging our country to China have been down played and kept quiet. Can we take 3 1/2 more years of this? Will we have business left or will the Fed be part owner of and dictating everything we do within them? We're facing losing control to even make decisions about our health and lives and those of our families. How much worse is it going to get? And how do we stop it?

If the 15k proposal does go through, if I buy 3 properties would I get the credit for all three properties?

I think the key words there were "primary residence" so you couldn't claim all three of those as a primary.
