I'm still trying to digest the "eminent domain" blunder and can't quite get over it...

What blunder. I stated what was out there. It's the observers choice to believe. It's no more unbelievable than that the American people would vote Stalin in for president. I've yet to see anyone political figure deny it or anyone find evidence to dispute it and I've been asking and looking since back in April.

I can't say I'm as old as you are or that I know how you feel but I had quit my job as an electronics engineer when I started making more at my business. At the early part of last year, things had turned very ugly down here in Florida and so I went back to work as an engineer. I have not stopped running my business though. At one point I was working both 40 hrs at the job and another 40+ for my corporation. Luckily I don't require a lot of sleep but it does take its toll. After I learned that I had to change direction with my business to meet the changes going on in the business world, I was able to get my corporation back on stable footing. Needless to say, getting paid from 2 directions can be very addictive. And I am not one of those people that hated their job. I enjoy engineering. So rather than quit either one, I've learned the fine art of outsourcing and delegating. I'm still putting in around 30 hours on my business each week but I'm working on loosening the grip little by little. Have you thought of simply hiring someone to do most of what you do so that you are virtually hands off?

Trusts have trustees, and are directed by the owners of the trust (or managers of the trust). In all, the only thing one would be dodging by not being licensed are some fees ,the bond requirements and some pretty basic education. There is no tax savings... Its a lot of work to save a couple hundred bucks... and if you were ever audited by the state housing authority things could really get ugly...

Thanks. It was just for my own curiosity. I don't deal with mobile homes or have to worry about a dealer's license so I didn't know what kind of hoops you had to jump through to get one.

Thankfully I'll miss all this opinionated fact throwing around by opting out on my newly adjustable dashboard thanks to Josh.

Laterz, good luck with getting others to see your point of view everyone.

I see that function works about as well for you as it does for me lol!

Amen, Karen! Talking about the senseless war, no doubt!

I'm talking about paying for a useless bunch of politicians to sit up there and take away my rights and dictate how I should live. And lets add to that taking what I have worked for to give to somebody who won't!

China proved to be a great imitator. There are not too many inovations coming from China. The US still have the best innovative potential in the world. If we invent new technologies, start producing unique products like we used to, and license those new technologies out. we can get back in the game. By that time, the chinese population who used to eat only rice three times a day, will have the appitite of some new cuisines (Sort to speak). They'll become consumers and one billion consumers are not small change.
God speed USA and God save us all.... :help:

That is WONDERFUL lol! Now all we have to do is find a government that is pro-American businesses and stop sending anybody that makes a buck off to the chopping block. Then maybe we'd have some incentive to produce/manufacture all these innovative products. R&D is the first to go when a company is getting slaughtered.

Zillow / realtor.com etc are jokes for comps - maybe to get an idea of what the home was worth a year ago use those sites :)

Realtors are not very good at it either and if your deal is contingent on financing - meaning you HAVE to know the value - spend the $25-$100 and get an appraiser to pull you the real deal comps.

I'm suggesting using Zillow with other sites. Zillow gives great details as well as the mileage which some other sites don't give and B of A is pretty darn accurate.

I have friends that are mortgage brokers who use an appraiser to get their comps but just to get a quick overview to determine if a place is worth even fooling with, I prefer to just pull something up online quickly,.
