The meeting topic and speaker will be announced closer to the meeting date.

We always meet the first Tuesday of every month at Sugar Creek Brewing Co. so we can have some adult beverages while we hear a local speaker present on their real estate investing expertise.

We do charge $20 for one or 2 for $30 to cover the cost of the private room, and there isn't any selling.

Jeffrey Richman- He has been around the block a few times, too many times actually. Once he went so fast around the block, he ended up in a ditch and had a long recovery to get back to real estate. As he sat in the hospital, he knew he had a higher purpose. That purpose was to try to pass on the knowledge of lease options he had gleaned from all of the REI gurus of the southeast. He's done more lease/options than there are medal rods in his body and that is a ton. In the trenches this month Justin “Strong Oak” Bell, wholesaler extraordinaire, who started off like any other ASU graduate with a degree in “Renewable Energy” and all the promise of a solar panel in Seattle. Making 24k right out of school with a gel budget of half that, Justin knew he needed a change, so as any good millennial would, he turned to listening to real estate podcasts in the middle of the day while “working.”

Would you believe that even at 24k/year, he was still able to get fired 4 months later? Luckily, he now had time to watch YouTube videos in addition to the podcasts while he collected unemployment and ate Cheetos. But time would soon run short and the motivation of an ending unemployment check and love of Cheetos, Justin was able to put together a few deals through dumb luck, trial and error with a touch of divine intervention and went full time REI in 2011-12. Now, the one man show clobbers the market with 30-50 deals a year and is only now willing to share some of the tips and tricks he has accumulated through the years

In the trenches this month we have Taylor “Eviler Twin” Peugh” and yes, he is super nice, maybe too nice, but somehow his brother Ed is even nicer, so that makes Taylor the “Eviler” one. Not my fault for pointing out the obvious. Maybe I struggled to come up with a nickname and second place was “Meme Grinder” since he’s always posting inspiration stuff on Facebook and pushing us to be better investors and maybe someone else suggested “One Stop Shop Peugh” since the Peughs own so many different businesses and do all different types of real estate transactions, that they are the “One Stop” for real estate transactions and home services. So let’s just call him, Taylor “Eviler Twin Meme Grinder One Stop Shop” Peugh and call it a day. I digress. The point is, the evil dude knows his stuff and he is going to somehow put himself in the shoes of peasants and present to us how a noob with no experience can grind themselves into their first deal.

I’ll be presenting on the “8 Fears of Real Estate Investors and How to Kick em” so you can actually implement what Taylor recommends and not be scared like a pumpkin spice latte at a yoga retreat.
