I'm not at all an expert - just a local contractor, college drop-out, my wife and I house-hacked a few properties starting in 2016 because we didn't have much cash and we are still just trying to buy solid rentals little by little and gather a group of like-minded people at our meet-up so we can all learn together and help each other.

I completely agree with Sam.

This is not something that will become clear with more online information. You need action, and to do that properly you need a little more focus/direction. Get local, go to meet-ups meet people and learn what others are doing. Then from there you can start to build an action plan around what and who you find. You're welcome in New Haven anytime.
