Our area has been depressed for quite a while, but recently won several promising bids and quite a number of jobs are coming back to the area.  I'd like to start contacting and locating some builders for some lots I have listed and get some development going.  There are not a ton of builders left in my area and I would like to network to get some eyes on the potential for growth here, especially in the appropriate price ranges.  Any suggestions or builders out there open for a discussion on possibilities?

Thanks @James Wilcox our closest REI network is in Lexington. Couldn't agree more on networking. I'm actively working The social clubs we do have here. I'd love the opportunity to help people outside our local area as well have access to growth opportunities. We're an area that has great positioning for outside influence and fresh ideas.

I'm an newer agent in Kentucky that has experience working with investors prior to becoming licensed. Our area has lost a lot of major employers over the past few years which has resulted in a lot of vacant commercial buildings with other companies closing shop. Recently it was announced we would have a major 500-1000 jobs coming to the area with a new industry. Obviously this should have a trickle into other industries and hopefully sales and jobs for the vacant buildings. My question is what kind of things and marketing would other investors or agents like to see to help spark some clients towards utilizing myself to help them get ahead of acquiring some of the vacant real estate?

I recently got my license and feel it has had a positive impact. Be interested to hear additional comments by others who have been in the game longer.
I would have to agree that living in Kentucky the options are abundant. I would add that with rates at the current levels and networking options like here the deals are there to be found.

There are some really good investors in and around your area. I would venture to say you could find some partners to match exactly what you are looking for. I'd def look into some on the REI groups Louisville and Lexington markets.

Hey @Chris Oster welcome to the group!  Always great to meet fellow Kentuckians on the threads here. You've certainly came to the right place to get an in depth crash course. Like @Samuel Watts having new people to work with on opportunities is always exciting. Hope to connect before too long!
