@Tyler Geisler I do mobile homes on land. I buy for 30k fix up and rent or sell for 65K 8% for 30 years!! Alot depends area you live. I'm on the Mexican Az border my clientele are young couples low income earners that want to own a home.

@Owen Thornton I keep all my rentals in my name get all the same tax benefits also umbrella insurance. I have not heard of anyone that has testified they were sued and a LLC saved them..if their is anyone can you tell us about it. Thanks.

I am now 57 I bought 8 houses cash. Yes you can do it. Only problem is now I want to buy 2 4plexs because I'm bored buy will need finance them. Good luck.

@Andrew Schulz if your a handyman type stay self employed. Your going to need do all your own repairs yourself probably anyways. Be a handyman I have one I pay $65 dollars a hour for 2 hours and $32 hour every hour after. He is good and does things right. He is also working everyday..stay with something related to real estate.. good luck.

@Anita Anand I'm drinking beer in Cabo San Lucas Mx. for a week.. Did I miss something? Just keep plugging away it will get easier. Re investing depending what your doing is not a overnight success.. Good luck you cannot succeed if you quit.

@Aaron Bonne I'm debt free now so 7k now but 10k will be good enough. I dont actively seek properties anymore but if a deal shows I will buy.. retired at 48 now 57..
