I came across a guy who only buys Mobile home lots. His income is from the rental of the lots and he pays a Manager. Does anyone else do this out there?

Hello and Good Morning,

I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth part of Texas and looking for tips and advice on Seller Financing.

Are there any recommendations on getting some upfront knowledge and research before I find a seller financed property?

I know there are contracts to sign and agree to between me and the seller financing the deal. Maybe you know some good lawyers in the DFW area that can give advice and that are familiar with the process.

Any tips or advice are welcomed.

Thanks,

Has anyone dealt with Mowing Liens from the City? The city of Fort Worth, Texas has a mowing Lien on an empty lot. The owner lives in California and was not mowing his lots for years, so the city mowed the lots for him. Is there a way to convince the city to waive the mowing Liens?

Hello,

I know I should seek help from an Attorney on my question.

I want to buy a fixer up home with another investor. It will be a 50/50 deal.

Who is a good attorney to seek guidance from, with a contract with this deal?

Hello BP Members,

I am interested in buying an empty lot and taking on a 1,500 sq ft new build. I would use the basic of every material if possible. It could be a resale or I could hold on to the new home for future resale. I would rent it in the meantime.

Are there websites that can help me estimate materials? I could call a few General Contractors, but I wanted to know some numbers first.

Any advice is welcomed.

@Andrew Lawson

Welcome Andrew? I am a former resident of Las Colinas. Lived at Riverside and Royal. Nice area. I'm moving back once I can afford those 1 Million dollar homes at Lakes of Las Colinas. Ha ha ha!

I recommend you come to the Bigger Pockets meet up. There is one next Wednesday 09-28-16 in Colleyville. You get to mingle and meet people with same interests. Great way to learn also.

@Edward Rhoads

I see now. It can work for investors with the large sums of cash that don't want to hassle with rehabbing.

Thanks,
