@Tyler H.

Thanks Tyler. Are you seeing 80% of ARV deals these days?

@Daniel Hyman

Yes, I lived in the home from Oct 2007 thru April 2012. Rented out from May 2012 until present.

Ah! That is what is happening. Too many out there have investor bug and pay almost retail.

@Michael McDevitt

Ah!! Thanks Michael.

Just curious to know if anyone has worked or works with Wholesalers who have good deals for investors? Something that is 50%-60% of the ARV price and rehabs are about another 15%-20%.

Some will say I am day dreaming, but thought I would ask anyway. I am in the Dallas Fort Worth, Texas area.

@Jay Dean

Wow! I thought that was the tax amount if you sold in less than 1 year after purchase.

I will ask a CPA to be sure.

Thanks,

Hello everyone,

Would someone give me an idea of how much money to save for taxes after I sell my rental home?

When I sell my rental home this year, I will be taxed on my sale.  What percent of the sales profit does one save for taxes? I estimate that I will make $10,000 more than what I paid for the house back in year 2007.

Any input is welcomed.
