Have you checked out TREIA.com. They are in your area. The members seem very pleased with the network of contacts they make. My understanding is that there is a RE attorney that frequently speaks at the meetings that many TREIA members work with. Have a great day.

@Lynn McGeein can you (or have you considered) writing something into the leases that allows you to charge the tenants for HOA violations if you are fined. Is that even possible? Can you expand on the HOA hearing issues. Are you finding out late that you have incurred a fine that has grown or become a lien? Has the overall effect of the HOAs kept the newer communities in good condition/more desirable rentals? forgive me for hijacking the thread but this is the type of local knowledge is vital for long distance landlords..

just sold my '95 Acura with 176k after buying it new in '95. Loved that car, and it was the last new car purchase I made.
