Hello everyone,

My name is Mike Patterson and my wonderful wife's name is Jenifer. We are just getting started investing in real estate.

We are working on building our team and have joined a local investor group. So far we have an agent/mentor that leads the group, a banker, attorney, and accountant lined out. We are gathering a list of contractors and skilled laborers to use.

We made our first offer on a rental property on Monday and negotiations seem to be going well. We are pretty confident the deal will go through.

Our Realtor referred us to this site and I have been reading and learning a lot in the last month. I really enjoy the podcast and the forums are full of good information for a beginner.
