Joe Papp your best option in this specific scenario,is to file for nonpayment in your local court house. Once they see the paperwork from the court they will know things are changing and your not going to be pushed around any more. That will get their attention real quick. What is the amount in repairs ? If the amount exceeds the time and effort and attorney fees sue if you need to. I recommend to take heed and learn from this moment. Hello @Adrienne Wonzer I have no experience with Foreclsoures in Cook County but I do have experience with SFR in general. I recommend to do a title search prior to any bidding. Every state is different in regards to its Landlord/tenant. IN most state you would need a WRIT OF POSSESION to remove owners.
