Is this a dating site now?

Just kidding LOL

I think that both sides of the media and govt and everyone else with an agenda is using half truths or creatively edited info to promote what they think is the right direction to head this freight train. That's what happens when people are so divided on the issues.
I don't feel I can trust much of the info I read because it seems like people are on one side or the other . I read and watch both sides-so to speak- but still don't feel I've been given all the info .
Anyway I feel like I'm rambling
Happy Sunday

Hi Billy,
There are a couple of REIA groups here locally that I think you may want to look up if you haven't already. One of them is 95+% full of landlords of varying experience. The other is a good mix of L.L., flippers, short sale, etc.
Both groups are informative and helpful with different type formats and objectives. BTW, I am not affiliated with either other than membership in both.
Look up stl.reia and street reia. Feel free to contact me with any Q's about either.
Congrats on your graduation AND landing a job in this market.

Chris

FYI: they both meet this week on the 18th and th other on the20th

I voted up Rich and Alana in this thread for the fabric softener use. I have also had success with mixing Downy ( prefer april fresh) with water in a spray bottle and lightly using a 4" mud knife to scrape the wall. The ratio I used was a capful of Downy or the amount you would put in a load of laundry, then fill spray bottle with warm water.
If the wall gets a little scraped, well thats what mud is for. Any of the other methods mentioned are going to mess up the walls too.

Glad it's you and not me LOL

My experience with them is about the same. They don't give any info w/out going to their hard sell presentation. I was looking into them for my business and then I let it slip during a phone conversation that I was married and they insisted my wife attend the presentation. I explained that this was for biz purposes and that we could add her later if need be. NOPE! Again the hard sell- can't add your spouse later - it's now or never.
They really turned me off with their old style used car sales techniques.

As I like to say "They made my Spidey Sense tingle"

If you paid consideration ( $$$$$$$) to the seller for the option then you have an enforcable contract

Large non-refundable earnest money deposits can help deter that behavior.

Christopher,
See the above; the post you mentioned was in keeping with this rule that the mods established.

Thanks Steve

Maybe I don't get it J C , but you posted a list of lenders that you say you have never done business with .
Where is the evidence that any of them can perform what is claimed. I thought this was going to be based on real life personal experience.
Again maybe I just misunderstood.
