It's getting so close and she needs to move in by 6/10 and we still haven't found a place. The problem is lot of rentals don't allow pets which is sad.

Can anyone help me to find a small rental home with a small back yard.

She qualifies for $1500/month rent.

Quote from @Deepak Arora:

Thank you @Kar Sun and @Ranjit Sandhu for your inputs.

Ranjit, it is a 3 bed 2 bath home, more than 1500 sq ft living area.

I rehabbed it so it has brand new LVP flooring throughout and new exterior paint. Needless to say, excellent schools. I am asking $2,500 now.

Send me the address and I have someone looking in this area. It's little out of their budget though but you never know.

Hi John,

I think the best will be if you talk to CPA. I'm sure they will tell you how the numbers will work. Sorry for the no help beside suggestion.

Thanks,

Hi Deepak,

I'm a Broker and I live in Rocklin for the past many many years. Pets are ok as long as the tenants are responsible. I have 2 dogs and they are mainly in the backyard and I have no issue with that. It depends if the cat is inside or outside. It should be ok. Let me know if I can be any help as I live in Rocklin. I have always people call me for rentals. How much are you asking for rent and how big the house is if it's ok with you to disclose.

Thank you,

Ranjit Sandhu

@Ranjit Sandhu I have attached a link to a Google Map that shows the Garden Tract area. It's an older area of Redding that is getting a revitalization due to the increased focus on the downtown area. https://goo.gl/maps/fgWUZVk528...

thank you!

Thanks @Justin Kerstetter We don't need furnished and we need it for 3 years so it could be a long term lease. Or we can buy but I'm not sure it is a good time to buy right now. Which area is garden tract? Can you please tell me the street names?

Hello friends, Looking for a rental in Redding CA area which is safe and close to hospitals in Redding downtown area. What is current rent going on for 2 bed 2 bath small house? Not looking for an apartment. I know we have a shortage of homes everywhere.

This is for a family member.

I'm from Rocklin CA and I'm a real estate broker.

Thanks for the feedback!

@Karen Margrave I'm a broker in Rocklin CA close to Sacramento. Yes, that zip code was typo and I meant to say 96001. My daughter is moving there in June and she will be a resident (Doctor) in one of the hospital in Redding DT. She has a pet so she is looking for a small house. I was not sure if I can post for rental question in the main thread so that's why I piggyback in this thread.

Justin, I wonder what have you done. As I'm looking a rental for my family member who will be working in Redding hospital for next 3 years. Any suggestions from anyone will be appreciated. We are looking for a smaller house 2 bed/2 bath as family member has a pet. Any safe area in Redding near Mercy/Shasta Medical Center?

Thank you!
