I am exploring Redding, CA for my first STRinvestment. Any input is much appreciated.

1 is it a good investment location?

2.Does county permit STR in Redding,CA

3. What are the safe neighborhoods for investment ?

@Karen Margrave I'm a broker in Rocklin CA close to Sacramento. Yes, that zip code was typo and I meant to say 96001. My daughter is moving there in June and she will be a resident (Doctor) in one of the hospital in Redding DT. She has a pet so she is looking for a small house. I was not sure if I can post for rental question in the main thread so that's why I piggyback in this thread.
