Good idea. Does anyone on BP have any experience with Uber as a driver? How many rides do you get and what kind of miles do you cover? Could it be a worthwhile way to drive for dollars?

Hi @Azeez K. . I can make it.  That's my neck of the woods - I was actually at that tavern 2 weeks ago. Looking forward to meeting you and other investors.

@Manesh. Best of luck with the rehab. The house has looks like it has good potential. I live in Atlanta (although I'm from overseas) and I just can't figure out the whole inner Atlanta dynamic. All the other cities I've lived in (Brisbane, London, Sydney, Melbourne, Singapore) you can't get within 10 miles of the city if you're not prepared to pay a huge premium and the previously dodgy areas have been gentrified. I wonder if Atlanta is ever going to end up the same way but it just seems to be so sprawled and all over the place.

Hi @Morris Lucas . I haven't structured a deal like this myself but in one of the BP Newsletters I remember reading about one success story where the guy bought a property and let the seller stay there for another year. The rent was deducted from the sales price. I'm not sure if this could be an option for you but it sounded like a win-win. You could be in for a challenge though because they still owe a bit and you'd have to wait a year to realize any profit.

Hi @Anna Watkins. Welcome to BP! I'm also in the Atlanta area although I mainly wholesale. I own rentals too and I'm definitely a believer in long term rentals for the income.

Although you might not be able to make the networking event in November, there are local REIA clubs in Atlanta that mostly meet in the evening so this could be another way to network if you can't make daytime meet-ups? Check out the Georgia REIA website and I think there's also an Atlanta REIA.

Hi @Allen Cones . There's definitely a strong case for developing the property yourself. The question is do you have the funds and expertise to develop it? Also, if you took the $165,000 profit now could you invest in something else that will give you a better return than if you developed?

@Brian Watkins. Hi - just to add to this discussion, I work for a firm which buys houses for hedge funds and they don't buy in Clayton County. They will buy in other Atlanta counties outside the perimeter just not Clayton.
