Seth, as with most things in our modern world, 'it depends'. What features are you seeking? Should it be for general checking/savings? Do you want to buy CDs or request a loan. Do you want to share money, pay bills or receive monthly payments?
For general banking needs (checking/savings/CDs, or tying checking/savings to purchase services such as moving money to/from investing, etc.), most credit unions have an app, as do most commercial banks like Ally.com.
Similarly, investing tools from Vanguard, Fundrise, Ally, eTrade and others all have apps that can be linked to the traditional banking accounts suggested above. If you have HSA investments from a HDHP, Old National Bank is one of several offering apps.
Sharing money? Some folks like using Venmo (owned by Paypal), although I've found their customer service lacking. Apple Cash allows sending and receiving directly, as well as Google Pay and Cash App.
I have friends who use Zelle (owned by a big seven collection of commercial banks). I have also heard stories about the lack of consumer protections of Venmo and Zelle -- like reversing transactions, etc.
Can you outline your needs a bit so the forums can see what you really want to do?
