Welcome to BiggerPockets Justin! It's nice to see someone else from Quincy. I am just getting started as well so I don't have much input to your question, but in terms of your goals, like you said, they can change and just be open to that idea.

How did you get into working for the real estate law firm? Did you need any sort of background or education? I'm currently looking for a career change and a job in real estate is definitely ideal.

I am actually still looking for my first deal as a buy and hold so hopefully I make that happen sooner than later!

Welcome to BP Colby. I would assume you are already making monthly payments on your student loans? As @Ann Bellamy said, it's important to get a handle on those first. I still haven't, several years out of college, and it only becomes a more difficult issue.

You seem to be in a good position to start and have received advice from some very educated investors. I would simply follow their advice.

Welcome to BiggerPockets Joseph! I have been thinking about a similar question that I have asked myself in regards to property management. I'm very new as well, but to me it seems like it would not matter when you choose to go with property management, whether you have one property or ten. Might just come down to each individual's preferences.

Maybe some of the more experienced investors have some insight as to when may be the best time to choose to go with property management?
