Hi Matt and welcome to BP. The south bay FIBI is a great REIA to attend. There's a big networking event coming up soon.

I find Mapliv and Rentometer useful tools for doing rent comps.

I just stumbled across this topic and found it interesting as a newcomer.

I'm curious during what part of your due diligence would this normally have become apparent?

I totally agree @Bill Gulley it's all about disclosure.

I aim to be an honest, loyal and respected agent that has a reputation as a man of his word. However I also want to be a problem solver for those who don't have the luxury of going through the traditional ways of selling their house. I'll definitely be an agent first, wholesaler second.

I also want to use wholesaling to increase my knowledge of investing and allow it to help with the expansion of my own portfolio along the way.

Has anyone signed up for Inman Select?

I'm curious to hear your thoughts and if it's worth it.

@Michael Tempel that's a great looking device. The big advantage of that is it won't drain your phone battery or data usage as it's self contained.

I could see that device extremely useful if you had a business fleet.

Thanks for the tip!

Thanks @Bill Gulley post above.

I think a lot more research is to be performed on my part to get a definitive answer. If there actually is one...

What's the best site to search for multi family properties?

I want to be able to specify how many units instead of how many beds.

Thanks.

@Bill Gulley so is it possible to simultaneously work as a agent under a broker and also work independently as a wholesaler without giving the broker any of the profits you receive from your independent wholesaling?
