For me having kids marked when I went from Mr. Frugal to buying house w yard, 4k per month daycare, family vacations, etc etc.

Currently considering move from 500k house to 1M, or instead being frugal at the 500k place and doing more REI.

Anyways a 450k house with combined income of 300k is fine, go for it!

TSP loan is easy and you pay interest to yourself, if you need $50,000 or less

I’ve considered it, across the river in Arlington, but the increase in profit wasn’t worth the extra work for me.  Maybe I’ll revisit if Amazon HQ2 comes to town.

7 ft may be legal but sounds awful to live in. Im 6 ft but not  renter so moot point.

Did you run it through the bigger pockets calculator? Sounds suspect with a $938 monthly fee.

You should get a real estate agent to submit the offer, its free to you, the agent commission is paid by the seller.
